Perforated metal sheets are designed to disappear — installed in ceilings, hidden in ventilation systems. This piece does the opposite. A single sheet, bent into a continuous serpentine form, becomes a magazine holder with the structural logic of the material built into its shape. Dynamic from every angle, minimal from any distance. A natural companion to a lounge chair or sofa. Works in minimal, mid-century and eclectic interiors — particularly in spaces where reading material is part of the room's character.
Objects in the Derivatives Series are fabricated from reclaimed materials. Subtle surface variations are part of the material’s history and contribute to the individuality of each piece. The following terms describe the visible material character.
Great
Minimal visible surface variation. The material appears clean and refined, either preserving only faint traces of its previous life or presenting a newly applied finish.
Good
Minor surface marks or tonal variations may be visible, reflecting the reclaimed origin of the material.
Fair
Visible surface character including scratches, texture variation, patina, or signs of time from the material’s previous use.
